I was browsing a site one day, when I noticed a program called "Team Fortress 2." I remembered playing that game when I was younger, so I was happy to download it.
Back when I was younger, my computer couldn't run it.
I dismissed the name mistake as just a typo, and happily downloaded it.
Once again, it took a long time to download. I went to sleep as it hit the 50% mark. Suddenly, after 2 hours of deep sleep, I woke up. I was still so tired. I don't know why I woke up. I was confused as heck. I noticed my computer was on. I thought "Oops, I must've left it on."
I went over, and noticed it TF2 was at 100%! "Heck yes!" I thought.
I checked my current friends online on Steam. One person was online, so I chatted him "Hey dude, I just downloaded a pirated TF2. Want to play with me?". He responded with "Well, um, okay. I've never liked that game..." "What, you mean the pirate?" I asked. "Yes, yes I do. I discovered it. I want to play Garry's Mod." "Well too bad, I just got the pirate and I'm playing it now. If you change your mind, just tell me." I told him. "Okay." He went offline right there, as I loaded TF2 up.
Everything looked normal, except the faucet Valve logo instead of the weird "Derrrrrnnn.." sound it usually made, it was a man screaming. The man screamed as someone ripped out the faucet, revealing a hole in his head. He then fell over and began thrashing around. After these fits, the game started up.
Instead of the normal photo I remember of a random class with a silly hat as the title screen, it was a mutilated Demoman. You know how TF2 has realistic blood, the way when you shoot someone blood appears on their clothes? This Demoman had blood caked on his face, as if a Sniper had shot him.
I figured this was just some kind of sick joke or error, so I pressed "Play" I chose CTF, and, as I expected, was sent to 2fort.
I joined right away. The notes were "Welcome to Pirate Clan Server!" Although it sounded like some horrible english, I just continued on.
The 2fort information was "Go to hell. Or turn back." I thought "Wow, Pirate Clan must be sick.." I joined, and chose Red.
I expected, with all the weird satanic stuff going on, that there would be some kind of weird thing players would say, but no, it was all just pleasant jibber-jabber. Was it recorded or something? I had no idea, so I chatted. I said 'Hello!" Everyone responded with a friendly "Hello!" Well, I'll have to hand it to this server - It was very pleasant.
Suddenly, the map went black. I asked everyone "What is going on?" However, everyone else had left.
Out of habit, I pressed F to turn a flashlight on. Although you can't do this in TF2, strangely enough, it worked.
There was blood everywhere. All the players looked like the Demoman on the title screen, except with blood caked everywhere.
Suddenly, it went to a loading screen. I paid attention to the map. It was called "Go_Back". Once it had downloaded, it downloaded a file called "Memories."
I was really beginning to get nervous.
After awhile, it loaded again. I was greeted with the same Pirate Clan title. I joined, and all of the players were back.
I said "Hello!" again. No one responded.
I noticed no one else was chatting or voice chatting.
There was still action going on, so I switched to Sniper, and began to snipe.
I saw a heavy with a medic. I decided to go for the Medic. As I shot him, his head exploded and coated his uniform, the bridge, and the Heavy.
Heavy fell over and started crying. I was too shocked to move. I, despite the horrid images in front of me, shot the heavy. Only it went through his leg. His leg exploded, as the Heavy was screaming out in pain. Suddenly, a scout came by, and beat him with his bat. I heard more yelling, as the bat and Scout was coated with blood. An Engineer came by and swung at the Heavy with his wrench. A spy stabbed him in the chest. A solider smacked him with a whip, and so on. I was so horrified.
Soon, all of my room disappeared. Everyone began talking again, and one said "Oh look, it's fresh meat. New slaves, anyone?" said one player as my friend came into the game...
